A murder revealed! My book cover!!!

Picture
I can't tell you how excited I am to see the cover of my first novel!!!

                                A Murder at Rosamund's Gate.

I think the artists at Minotaur captured the essence of my story beautifully.
The opening (and closing) images of my novel are of Lucy standing at a door.
There are some other clues about the story tucked away here, but you'll have to read the book to discover them for yourselves!!!

That totally rocks, Susie. I like how your name is set off in different colors, and the ornament on the "t" in Gate is perfect—just enough frill, not so much that it overwhelms the title.

Also, "Susanna" is an excellent name for someone writing in this genre.

Best,
Jeff

Jeff-thanks. Right--I would totally have been writing sci fi or fantasy, but I said to myself, 'Cmon, Susanna isn't a sci fi author name. I'd better write a mystery." :-)

The picture captures my attention, and will be sure to draw people to pick up the book and see what it is about. I especially like seeing your name in print, and I like how they did it in contrasting colors against the picture. Very classy!

Thanks Maggie! I like the contrasting colors too! (and am I allowed to say that I would totally pick this book off the shelf too? My kind of book! ;-) )

I am so curious to read it! Nail varnish? A jacket but no hat? Two bundles of letters? Dying to know what the clues are! Do you have a date for the release yet? All best wishes!

Cory, nail varnish? hmmm. Perhaps if that varnish starts with a B and ends with a D? No official date for the release yet, but early-ish 2013. Thanks for your kind words.

Hey Susie, I can't wait to be mystified, absorbed in page-turning, and maybe learn more history. Look at this: I'm waving my wallet around, eager to adjust its contents on this very book!

Alright! Finally! Now I know what to look for in the stores. I don't remember if you mentioned this--is it hardback, softback, or paperback? In other words, does it have a dust jacket?

Bekerys, thanks. yes, the book will first emerge in hardback form (with dust jacket :-) I assume); later it will be available in softback. It will also be available in e-book form for kindle, nook etc.

It is a nice cover picture; in fact a perfect one for a crime novel to start with. When is it going to launch. I think I am bit lil excited to read it and find out the writer in you. Thanks!!
